Providing remote support to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Investigation team, the full-time Remote IT Help Desk Specialist will assist over 4000 customers nationwide by troubleshooting issues, managing user accounts, and educating users on self-service options. Key responsibilities Provide remote technical support to users and assist with troubleshooting desktop and application issues Manage user accounts, including adding, removing, and maintaining access to various resources Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, processing tickets and escalating issues as necessary Required qualifications Must be a US citizen 1+ year of IT help desk support experience High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT preferred Proficiency in desktop and laptop operating systems and hardware technologies Experience in a call center or similar customer service environment
