Job Summary
We are seeking dependable, motivated, and safety-conscious Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers to join our growing delivery network. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, managing their own schedules, and providing reliable, professional delivery services.
As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages, merchandise, or other assigned items safely and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to review and accept available delivery assignments that fit your availability and service area.
We are looking for drivers who take pride in their work, communicate effectively, meet delivery deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Pick up and deliver packages, goods, to designated locations.
* Complete deliveries accurately, safely, and within scheduled time frames.
* Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and navigation applications.
* Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and platform representatives as needed.
* Verify delivery details and obtain proof of delivery when required.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly report completed assignments.
* Handle packages responsibly and follow any applicable delivery instructions.
* Maintain a clean, reliable, and properly maintained vehicle.
* Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and applicable transportation regulations.
* Report delivery delays, damaged items, unsuccessful deliveries, or other issues promptly.
* Maintain professional conduct and protect customer information and package confidentiality.
Qualifications
* Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle being used.
* Safe driving record, subject to applicable requirements.
* Reliable vehicle suitable for the assigned delivery services, unless a vehicle is provided.
* Valid vehicle registration and insurance covering the intended delivery activity.
* Smartphone with GPS and the ability to use delivery or dispatch applications.
* Strong time-management, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to follow delivery instructions and meet assignment deadlines.
* Ability to lift and carry packages as required for the specific assignments.
* Ability to pass applicable background checks and driving-record reviews, where required.
