ROLE
The Home2 Nashville Opry by Hilton (set to open February 2027) Director of Sales is Responsible for generating top line revenue by fostering new client hotel business, through outside, direct sales effort in order to meet or exceed budgeted revenue expectations. Develop and implement an effective revenue generating plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Qualify leads and prospects gained from cold calls, sales blitzes, and other sources
Network with prospects to uncover other decision makers
Maintain an active and visible position in the local community, hotel industry, and at the hotel, by participating in community activities, team member functions and guest events
Document ALL sales efforts
Develop and maintain revenue generating plan and sales budget with the General Manager
Increase revenue from market segments and key accounts
Help coordinate revenue management with the General Manager
Lead hotel team in sales efforts and motivate the team selling effort
Participate in joint sales and revenue calls with the General Manager
Prepare weekly sales meetings with the General Manager
Cultivate lead sources
Qualify in-house guests
Establish and maintain close contact with accounts through phone calls, tours, appointments, correspondence, and entertainment. Assess future and current needs of the guests
Meet weekly sales call expectations
Develop team member attitude of attentiveness and anticipation of the guest’s needs
Assist the General Manager in resolving guest complaints that are of concern to the sales team
Shares "Manager on Duty" responsibilities with the GM
Interaction with guests during breakfast hours to obtain feedback
Coordinate with other hotel departments and personnel, all sales information necessary for the professional execution of commitments
Any reasonable request by management that you are capable of performing
Qualifications
3 years of Hotel Management experience.
Required Skills
Select Service Management, P&L experience, guest satisfaction, expense management and revenue growth.
Pay range and compensation package
$52,000 - $60,000 per year depending on experience, plus bonuses.
